I just finished my 2nd Texas Longhorn Steer

which was made for the Dallas Cowboy Organization,

using all crystals, called  "crystal."

Lots of Sparkle!

    I think your skull art is amazing! I collect skulls and I have had them burnt with tribal designs and used as candle holders, but never seen anything as unique and beautiful as what you do.
    Quinn I wish you all the success with your skulls and best wishes for the future.

      Amanda-
      Thank you for one of the nicest comments anyone has ever given me! I started my skull art as a way to get more comfortable with death. (I have a heart disease that will shorten my life... and at first I was so afraid of dying.) Working with skulls has been "healing" in so many levels. Your compliment sure is an added bonus.

    Oooh creepy. It has a strange feeling of being good and being creepy at the same time.

    I like that skull a lot. I am doing the steer and cow skulls with mosaic tiles and its very relaxing and fun! Are those swarovski crystals all over the skull?

      Yes, my longhorn skulls are encrusted with between 10,000 to 14,000 Swarovski crystals on each piece. I too find the entire process soothing and because I have a bad heart- the hyper-focus required to glue on each stone in the correct place helps me actually slow down my heart rate.
      Can I see you work? Do you sell the at any art galleries? If so, what is your price range? I am planning on contacting a few galleries in the Southwest- but don't know how to price my longhorn skulls. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, Quinn
